Sat here, leg up after my knee op, figured it was time to kick off a blog for my Cal-Look.net site.
Basically an nice easy way of letting people know what I am up to without having to update the main site.
My heads are still not back from the machine shop, and my bug has no engine! Bug In trip in a couple of months and I am starting to get nervous!
So a to do list is in order!
- Fit tow bar to Polo so I can bring my bug home to work on and stop paying for the extra garage!!!!
- Paint engine tins, thinking dark grey.
- Finish polishing manifolds.
- Find my carbs!!
- Clean up exhaust - covered in burnt oil.
- Speak to Angus and get my wing/valence repainted - they are a bit singed!
- Speak to Ian next week, once heads are back engine is game on!
So, simple, loads to do, and I am stuck here with my leg up full of pain killers!
